Flexible, fireproof fire curtains of the EI class are a modern solution offering both fire protection and protection against radiant heat. Our new TFF-EI-ALL product line can optionally also be equipped with the smoke protection properties Sa or S200.
The TFF-EI-ALL can also be used as a closure for rail-bound conveyor systems (FAA-FLEX-ALL).
It can be installed on the wall as well as on the ceiling or in the reveal. Depending on the width and height of the opening, different housing and drive types are available; you will find the right version in the configuration matrix in the flyer.
Functionality
The fail-safe motors ensure that the fire curtains close under their own weight even in the event of a power failure. The integrated centrifugal brake ensures a safe and controlled downward movement until fully closed.
Drive types
- Type 1: tubular motor
- Type 2: double tubular motor
- Type 3: external drive GFA 15.20
- Type 4: external drive GFA 25.20
- Type 5: external drive GFA 50.20
- Type 6: external drive GFA 110.18
For external drives, the position of the drive is defined (see graphic “Drive arrangement” under installation options):
- Position 1: next to the curtain
- Position 2: above the curtain
- Position 3: on the ceiling in front of the curtain
